Feature Request: Project Estimates vs. Actual Time in Reports & Custom Dashboards

Hello,

First off, I love using the Project Dashboard for a detailed look at a single project’s progress against its time estimate.

I’d like to propose expanding this functionality into the Reports section. It would be incredibly valuable to be able to:

  1. See “Time Estimate” as a data point in Reports: Add “Time Estimate” as an optional column or data point in the Summary and Detailed reports. This would allow us to see a direct comparison of “Actual Time vs. Estimated Time” for multiple projects in one view, without needing to click into each individual project.

  2. Build a Multi-Project Dashboard View: Ideally, this could evolve into the ability to create a customizable dashboard. Imagine being able to add widgets or charts that visualize estimate vs. actual data for a curated list of key projects. This would provide a powerful, at-a-glance health check for our entire project portfolio.

Why this would be helpful:

  • At-a-glance Portfolio Monitoring: Quickly see which projects are on track, nearing their budget, or have gone over, all from a single screen.

  • Simplified Reporting: Streamline the process of generating performance reports for clients or internal stakeholders by having all the necessary data in one exportable report.

  • Enhanced Data Analysis: Allow for more flexible analysis by using the powerful filtering and grouping capabilities of the Reports tab on estimate data.

Thanks for considering this! I believe it would be a powerful addition for many teams who manage multiple projects simultaneously.
