Issue with Toggl Track Installation – "Installation has failed" Error

Hi Toggl Track Support Team,

I’m trying to install Toggl Track on Windows, but I keep encountering an error message that says “Installation has failed”. The message suggests checking the setup log for more information. However, when I click on “Open Setup Log”, the error window just closes, and nothing happens.

Since I can’t access the log, I’m unsure how to proceed. Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this issue? Let me know if you need any additional details.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I actually managed to solve the issue a while ago by temporarily disabling Avast. I had to right-click the Avast icon in the system tray, go to “Avast shields control” and disable it from there. After that, the installer worked fine.

Just leaving this here in case it helps someone else.
