Starting (stopping) a new (running) time entry in Apple Watch

Summary of request

  • Please make it possible to start a new time entry and stop a running entry directly from Apple Watch.

Background

  • On my iPhone, I have created an automation that starts a new time entry when a specific Focus mode is turned on.
  • Similarly, turning off this Focus mode triggers stopping the currently running time entry.
  • This automation works perfectly when the Focus mode is controlled on my iPhone. However, it does not work when the same Focus mode is turned on or off from my Apple Watch. In other words, changing the Focus mode on Apple Watch does not trigger starting or stopping a time entry.
  • I love Toggl Track but this limitation makes it difficult to use Apple Watch as a primary device for starting and stopping time tracking.
