How do I delete tags that show up in my desktop app

The tags that show up in my desktop app are not all valid, some need to be deleted. When I go into the tags on the website, not all the tags are in there. Why do I have different/more tags on my app and how can I get rid of them?

Hey! Thanks for reaching out! Ensure all your time entries are synced from the desktop app, and only then, log out and back into it please. This will fetch the updated tags list.
We’re also working on fixing this issue.
