Post Title: Ability to select clients for specific tasks/projects, tasks instead of projects for tracking time and managing data

I am doing a trial right now and the time is tracked by adding a task or project. However, only projects can be a reoccurring selection not tasks. Once projects are created, they can be selected whenever the timer is used, but this can’t be done with tasks. In addition, I would like certain tasks or projects to have the ability to select clients related to that specific task/project. I saw that only clients can be attached to projects but the ability to select from a list of multiple clients for any given project or task is not doable. Is there any way to make this possible?

Thank you for reaching out! In Toggl, time entries may be attached to sub-project Tasks: Tasks This can be done from our apps or the webapp :slight_smile:

What about my question related to clients? Can I select a client for a project/task? It seems that the only way to do this is to create a client as a project and then assign tasks to it, but that’s not what my goal is.

You can head to a project and assign a client to a project, but you cannot assign a client directly to a task or time entry. This is because Toggl’s architecture treats clients as “project-level tags”.
