In Toggl Track on Android, a running timer shows an ongoing notification with a stop action in it. Toggl 2.0 doesn’t, and that’s the one thing keeping me on Track.
The notification isn’t just a status display for me. Android forwards notification actions to a paired watch, so I could stop a running timer from my Garmin Fenix without touching the phone. In 2.0 I have to unlock the phone and open the app.
Closest existing threads I could find are #4933 (asks for notification settings in 2.0, but not this specifically) and #4956 (Android widgets), so I’m opening a separate one for the timer notification itself.
