Post Title: Toggl Track timer button no longer showing up in Jira sidebar

Your Question/Topic: Hello community! I’m not sure when this behavior changed, but multiple end users of the Toggl Track Chrome extension in our environment have reported to me that the Toggl Track timer button no longer shows up on a Jira work item when viewing the work item using the sidebar (from a Kanban or Scrum board). The button shows up fine when you launch the work item in it’s own browser tab.

The fix for this will be out in the next release. For the moment you can switch to modal mode and use the timer button from there :blush:

Has there been an update on this? I can see the most recent version in the Microsoft Edge add-ons store is Version 4.5.1 from 7 November 2024.

I can see the Chrome Extensions Web Store lists Version 4.11.13 from 13 May 2026 as the most current one.

We only officially maintain extensions for Chrome and Firefox. While the Toggl Track extension does appear in the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store, that listing isn’t maintained by us and is likely outdated.

The good news is that Edge supports Chrome extensions natively, so you can install the latest version directly from the Chrome Web Store and it will work in Edge just fine!
