Auto-generated 7-hour entries after clicking “Play” on yesterday’s task

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using Toggl for over 6 years with no issues—until now.
Since the last update, when I click “Play” on a time entry from the previous day, Toggl automatically logs a 7-hour entry for today on a completely unrelated project, without my input.

This happens every morning, and it’s affecting my time tracking and billing accuracy.
Combined with the recent UI/UX changes, it’s become frustrating enough that I’m seriously considering switching to a different service.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
Is there a fix or way to disable this behavior?

I haven’t seen any other reports of this - any chance you can email us from the email address we have on file with a screen recording showing this?

This week it stopped doing this glitch, I hope it’s gone.
