Toggl Track Not Tracking Time

Post Title: Even when I make a new account, any project I create after November 28th automatically makes the time slot “No project”

I have made new accounts, troubleshooted everything needed and still cannot get the time to track after the 28th, I really depend on this and am in desperate need for help or I will have too find a new a new program to track.

Your Question/Topic: How can I fix this issue?

Same thing is happening here, on web app (google chrome). It started during the weekend (29-30november).

I start tracking, timer runs. I press stop and there is no time entry.
I often also start timer from previous tracked time slot. This doesn’t work at all.

They updated something but at the same time broke something too.

yup exact same time frame for me, mustve been a software wide update that bugged everything, right on pay day too just horrible timing

Interestingly, I have the same problem with time tracking. But right after I visit the Community, the time tracking buttons start acting as before. Hmmm… Update 12/2/2025. The awkward tracking behavior continues. After I click the “stop” button, the time is NOT added to my time tracking log, though it stays visible in the time tracking bar. I have to click the + sign to flip to manual entry, and then click a + sign again to add my time to the time tracking log. Too many clicks. Really hope the Toggl team is looking into this.

I have another version of that problem now.

I start the time in web and it also starts on my phone app. That is okay.
But when I stop the time in my pc, it continues in phone. I stop it in phone. But somehow I later find that the time runs in the background in the web app. Time is grey’d out. But after refreshing it shows it’s still running. So, I can not end the timer on web app.
