Feedback about the Time Tracker function and Chrome Extension

I consistently experience the same issues with Toggl Time Tracker.

First issue:

The Toggl extension and webpage do not always sync up when stopping or starting a time. I notice it more when stopping time. I will stop it with the extension, and the extension indicates that the time has stopped, as evidenced by the absence of the colored extension icon in the toolbar. However, the time will continue on the webpage, so I have to stop it a second time on the webpage. This is very counterintuitive to the way it should work. My job relies on very accurate timekeeping, as reporting inaccurate time can result in termination. If I don’t notice the overextended time fault right away, then it becomes a whole thing to figure out where and when I stopped working, and then readjust the timer, losing valuable work time during the process.

Second issue:

Periodically, I am automatically logged out of Toggl. I am not sure why this happens. It sometimes happens when I am in the middle of working, and I have to log back in and adjust the time because it keeps running, even though I am logged out. This is a poorly designed system, resulting in extra steps I have to take to adjust the time, which wastes valuable work time. Firstly, I have to log back in, then determine how much time I have gone over, and then adjust the time tracker accordingly.

These occurrences wouldn’t be such an issue if they happened occasionally, but they occur fairly frequently, like weekly. It’s rather annoying, to say the least.

If anyone can give me more insight on these issues, I’d appreciate it; if not, that’s fine too. I created this post primarily to provide feedback to the Toggl design team, as there doesn’t seem to be a clear way to contact support for issues with functionality.
