Post Title: Toggl clock randomly stops

Your Question/Topic: The Toggl timer has started randomly logging me out after 20 minutes. This behavior happens every couple of weeks. We bill clients by the hour, and this results in thousands of dollars in lost revenue if not caught.

Based on what you’ve described (the timer stopping after 20 minutes), this sounds like it could be related to Pomodoro settings. The team recently released an update to the browser extension which synced Pomodoro settings to the web app. If you had Pomodoro turned on previously in the extension, the web app will now follow those settings even if it didn’t before.

Could you please check the following:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions/ in your browser
  2. Look for the Toggl Track browser extension
  3. Click “Details” and then “Extension options”
  4. You’ll see the extension settings page—please turn off Pomodoro if it’s enabled

This should stop the timer from automatically stopping after set intervals.

Interesting. I use the webapp to pull invoicing data every 15 days. That might be the issue. I’ll follow your suggestions
