Since the Toggl 2.0 upgrade, I can now no longer see the option to edit privacy settings on my projects. I think this has now become a paid feature, which is fine, but the problem is that several of my projects are private and I can now no longer add tasks to them which are visible to me, nor can I change the privacy setting. Is there a workaround for this or am I just going to have set up new projects for the ones I am now effectively locked out of?
That sounds like a frustrating situation, and unfortunately based on the available information, there is not a documented workaround for accessing or changing the privacy settings on existing private projects if that feature is now behind a paid plan.
If your projects are locked in a private state and you cannot add visible tasks or change the settings, creating new public projects and moving your work there does seem to be the most practical path forward on the free plan.
That said, this is a genuinely good point about being locked out of projects you previously set up under different plan conditions, and I will make sure to pass this feedback along to the product team.
