Minor bug with time entry fields

I think this is a bug, although non-critical.

I often forget to start my timers and find myself having to adjust the start time while the timer is running. When I do this, the start time is always in correct.

I’m on a MacBook Pro with MacOs 15.0.1 and Toggle Track app v10.6.1.

This example shows the sequence to reproduce:

  • I start a timer at 5:12pm (17:12 in my menu bar)

  • then I want to back date the start time by 5 minutes, so I click on the timer field, but when it appears the start time says 4:43, instead of 5:12 (incidentally, 4:43 is the start time of a previous session)

  • then I click away so the time fields are hidden, then click in the time fields a second time - this time the time has corrected itself to 5:12

It’s only minor, except my forgetfulness means that I have to go through this a few times every day .

I have put a video of the steps here

I hope that helps

Hello there
Thank you so much for reporting this issue! We appreciate you bringing it to our attention. :toggl-heart: Our team will look into the time entry field inconsistencies.
If you notice anything else, feel free to share them here. We really value your feedback!

Thanks for helping us make Toggl even better! :toggl-rocket:

@Skatter Thanks for reporting the bug. It seems very similar to a bug that we fixed in the latest app version, which was released today. Could you update Toggl Track to version 10.7.0 and check if the bug is solved?

I also came here to report this bug. After updating to 10.7.0 the bug seems to have been fixed. Thank you.

Thanks, that’s great news. I can see 10.7 in the App store, but I don’t yet have the ability to update - not sure why. Will try again in the coming days
